1
Driver's License
Here's a concise version: Applicants must present documents to prove their identity, lawful status, social security number, and Missouri residency. Examples include driver's license, birth certificate, social security card, and utility bill. Additional documents may be required.
2
Identification Cards
To ensure a smooth process, we'll need you to provide some documentation to verify your identity, lawful status, social security number, and Missouri residency. Don't worry, we'll guide you through the process and make it as easy as possible. And if you have any special indicators, like being a Veteran or having a Boater Safety certification, we'll need some additional documentation for that too. Let's get started!

Commercial Drivers
For obtaining or renewing a CDL or CLP in Missouri, self-certify to a single type of commercial operation and have a valid medical examiner's certificate and any variance. You can apply in person or submit required documents via email or fax to a participating Missouri contract license.

Registration/Titling/Plates
It's important to title and pay sales tax for your new vehicle within 30 days of purchase in Missouri. If you miss the deadline, you'll be charged a penalty of $25 on day 31, and it increases by $25 every 30 days, up to a maximum of $200. To title your vehicle, you'll need to provide several documents, including the Certificate of Title or Manufacturer's Statement of Origin, a signed Application for Missouri Title and License an ID/OD inspection, an Odometer Disclosure Statement, and a notarized Lien Release if applicable. Keep in mind that even model year vehicles must be safety and emissions inspected (unless exempt) in even calendar years, and odd model year vehicles must be inspected (unless exempt) in odd calendar years.
